Story Deli: A delicious addition to Shoreditch

3 Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, E2 7DJ
Tel: 07918 197352

This quaint and organic pizza joint is a healthy East London gem, just a side step off Shoreditch High Street. Previously located in Dray Walk, off Brick Lane, its new location on Redchurch Street is smaller but has avoided compromising on character or crunch.

Hanoi -Monday 16th  Jan 2012

Arrived in Hanoi at 10am and went for an amazing coffee in a hidden coffee shop on a roof top over looking Hoam Kiem lake. Finding the place wasn't as easy as just reading the map. After a few times back and forth we were pointed towards a shop selling souvineers to the left and scarves to the right, but we were directed through. At the back of the shop an opening led to a dark corridor and upon reaching the end were leaf lined concrete steps which led up to a landing and a brown iron, spiral staircase which led to the cafe.

The view out to the lake was a complete juxtaposition to the commotion of traffic below. Constant tooting of traffic  and purring of hundreds of scooter engines, whilst looking at an idyllic tree lined lake, reflecting the sun.

Realised I have an obsession with men’s hair. And I didn’t think I was fussy! Not even sure where this obsession has come from, but it may well have been from Bradley Coopers sexy mop in the first Hangover! His hair is lush.

Wednesday 5th January, 2011

The new year has got me thinking... Some people wonder what all the fuss is about 'Same sh*t different year' I've read on some status' or 'No point setting resolutions, they'll be broken by Sunday'. And they might be right. The clock striking midnight on December 31st doesn't miraculously change your life or change whats around you. It is a NEW year though and therefore a new start. And that's what makes it easier to set new goals, make new plans and look ahead positively. Its like a clean slate on which to wipe away all our past failures. Its only as the year passes by and plans become unfinished and dreams become unfulfilled that we start to loose heart and dread the week ahead. So what better time than now to change your outlook. I started a work lotto syndicate on Jan 1st, finally joined yoga classes, got back to reading and stepped up my saving plan. And guess what? My Lotto syndicate has already won £20 from our New Years Day numbers! 2011's looking bright already. xx

Monday 20th September, 2010

Bright eyed and bushy tailed on a Monday? No way! Especially after attending the Urban Music Awards on the weekend and necking free vodka along with the rest of them! Damage, LIVE (and close enough to touch), a kiss on the lips from bb7's Aisleyene (not my instigation) and a free bottle of Reggae Reggae sauce from Levi Roots himself. And speaking of hot!! Calvin from Holyoaks was the host! Phwor! What more could you want from an awards party?? Oh yeah, well, there were some awards flying about as well, but that's for another story. Look out for my review coming soon in Superstar Magazine... xx

Wednesday 08 September 2010

This week is dragging. Well and truly! The first full week of September and boy doesn't it show. The weather can't make up its mind but one thing is obvious, summer is over. No more week day evenings with BBQ food for dinner, or white wine spritzers in a beer garden after work. No more bee stings or cut grass sneezes - ITS AUTUMN. Get ready for winter coats, cold mornings, dark evenings and dun dun dun Christmas shopping!
